John H. Auld II
John has been in the practice of law for 27 years, all in North Hills suburban law firms. He is a graduate of North Allegheny High School, of Colgate University and in 1973 received his Juris Doctor degree from Dickinson School of Law. In 1991 he joined Chris Abernethy and Geff Young to form Abernethy, Auld and Young. Prior to that, he practiced for 18 years with pioneer North Hills attorney, Howard S. Auld, as part of Howard S. Auld and Associates.
Experienced in a wide variety of areas, John maintains a broad legal practice. His areas of concentration are real estate, both residential and commercial; wills, estate planning and decedent's estates; banking law; small business counseling; and municipal law. In addition to individual and small business clients, John represents Laurel Savings Bank, North Pittsburgh Telephone Company and Richland Township Municipal Authority. He has also been an underwriting agent for Lawyers Title Insurance Company for over 20 years.
John is married and has two grown children and one teenage daughter. He resides in southern Butler County.
